Tallowed and Free

I have used quite a few different brands of shampoo bars and think this one lathers the best by far and also leaves the hair squeaky clean and thick and voluminous.. no superfluous ingredients, no extra seed oils, and the scent is delicate and elegant. Her bar of soap equally worthy and I am grateful for this brand, its care, its perfected products and its incredible customer service. A customer for as long as i shall live

I have been using the non-whipped version and have eliminated my long beauty routine of toner/serum/oils/creams altogether with the use of this one product. I wake up mornings still with dewy skin and I go the entire day always dewy always radiant. Most beauty products contain seed (usually sunflower) oils which are industrially produced and therefore prone to oxidation and highly toxic in their high level of PUFA. Tallow is the closest oil to our own body oil type, and it is a fact that our skin and bodies thrive on biocompatibility—meaning the closer a product’s ingredients are to our skin’s natural makeup, the more effectively our body assimilates them. And the better they work.

I have been looking for a quality tallow soap specifically with these two things as my skin has been rather irritated this summer. It has cut down the irritation and my skin feels fabulous!

I’ve made an effort to ditch toxic sunscreens and embrace the sun the last 2 years, but due to my fair skin I refularly burned. Finally tried out this tallow sun balm this past weekend (was hot and sunny both days) and was pleasantly surprised with the outcome. Was in direct sun for ~2 hours both days and had no burns. And with cacao and coconut oil as ingredients, I smelled like a cookie. Win-win.

I've tried tallow balms from two other places and they both arrived with the same exact consistency of the tallow I use for cooking. But this stuff? This is incredible. It's light, creamy, goes on completely smooth. My skin looks incredible and is glowing more than ever. Consider me a forever dedicated customer. If you're looking for a tallow balm/moisturizer with absolutely no additives or fragrance, you can't beat Tallowed and Free.

New: Calendula and Chamomile Soap (Unscented) - For sensitive, baby, and acne-prone skin

It applies smoothly and works wonders! Be mindful of the scent though; despite its title, the tallow itself of course has a scent.

I've been slathering this all over my face and neck since it arrived and I'm already seeing a positive impact. Skin is much softer and seems better hydrated. I had a couple small whiteheads which is par for the course with routine changes + adult acne, but they've all resolved themselves and my skin legitimately seems clearer already. Looking forward to continued improvements!

I've tried a ton of different Tallow balms. This is hands down the best I've tried.

It spreads well, applies easily and works incredibly.

No going back to normal lotion OR other Tallow balms

One of my friends gave me this soap and I was instantly hooked. The smell is so nice and it leaves my skin feeling very soft and moisturized. I ordered it again several times and it came quickly. I even got a nice personalized note which just made my day. 5 star service.

I am loving the solid tallow balm. I’ve been using it morning and night for almost a week now after I cleans my face. You really don’t need much but I do use a little more at night. My skin is so smooth and almost looks a bit fuller, something we all want as we age no? I’m 41. The smell takes adjusting but it does fade in a half hour. I have also been using it on my elbows which have psoriasis. One is completely healed the other is showing much improvement.

Customer service is AMAZING! I emailed asking when it would be back in stock. They even contacted me letting me know it was ready to purchase which I found really great.

I will be getting the soap to test it out as well.

Definitely recommend, you won’t be disappointed!
